This is the best advice one can give. We should not blindly follow any trends, but go with our guts (literally and metaphorically). Fasting helped me enormously with changing how I perceived food. Like it was not a necessity, something I put on the pedestal, but a way to nourish my body whenever I feel the need to do so. Thank you for the article and for emphasizing the need to listen to personal needs.
